Start in Green River — get on I-70 West from the town center (follow signs for I-70 W / Salina / Richfield).
Follow I-70 W for the long stretch across central Utah. You’ll pass through desert and high plateau scenery as you head toward the I-15 junction near the Cove Fort / Salina area. Stay on I-70 W — this is the main westbound highway for this leg.
At the I-15 / I-70 junction (near Cove Fort / Salina), merge onto I-15 North toward Provo / Salt Lake City.
Continue north on I-15 for the longest portion of the trip. You’ll pass towns such as Nephi, Mona, Spanish Fork, and the Provo/Orem area as you approach the Pleasant Grove exit.
